Have not received my iPad mini 7 yet. I used my old iPad mini to test it. Follow the menu, it is very easy to setup, and connect with blue tooth. It is easy to change the opening, and rotating the directions. The small display is very helpful about the status. Like the very clear case , so I can have my original color shown. By the way, for my case, I need to use some force to open the case, Maybe this is by design. But I worried if I was going to break it. When I first got this, it was a temporary case for my sister while the one she wanted would take a while to get here. However, this turned out as a bit of a surprise. The case has a bit of a plastic feel to it, but once you get past that it is quite nice and functional. The item is okay but to me I would rather have just purchased it for my daughter because she loves it.
